Adding Game Backend and Live Ops capability into your game can be a daunting thought but with Live Game Management platform ChilliConnect it’s super easy and only takes a few minutes.

It only takes a few minutes to get started with ChilliConnect, and once you’re done setting it up you’ll have game backend services and live ops capability in your game straight away. You will also have access to your own analytics dashboard that can be customised for custom charting.

Adding your game to the Dashboard

From the ChilliConnect website, click sign up in the top right-hand corner. Once you’ve entered all your details and signed up you’ll be asked if you would like to join our mailing list. Our mailing list is used to keep you up-to-date with new features, new tutorials and new video content.

Click “Add Game” in the dashboard to add your game. Once you have added your game you will be taken to your new ChilliConnect dashboard where you will see the three main areas of service: “Metrics” our built-in analytics, “Connect” is our Game Backend Services feature and “Live Ops” at the bottom.

If you are a developer the next stage will usually be to download one of our SDKs. You can chose from iOS, Unity and Unreal, download them, and integrate them into your game.

If you want to find out more about the features and benefits of the ChilliConnect platform quickly you can use the API Explorer tool. The API Explorer allows you to test out the API of ChilliConnect from your browser as if you were using the SDK, but it is a lot faster because there is no code to write. There are lots of API methods you can test out using the API Explorer before downloading the SDK.

Watch the full step by step guide in the video above with Mike and integrate Game Backend and Live Ops in your game today with the free 30 day trial.

If you are already using ChilliConnect and want to explore some it’s more advanced features, get creative with Mike’s Best Practice tutorial on writing Advanced Cloud Code Scripts or preparing your game for soft launch.
